OK, as we approach the New Year, it’s that time we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve seen in the MCU including Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, Black Widow, and most recently Spider Man: No Way Home! Especially tons of New Disney Plus Marvel shows like Hawkeye, Loki, What If, and WandaVision! We’ve then gotten announcements about the confirmation of the Fantastic Four and the X-Men entering the MCU, since I’ve already made a Fancast for the Fantastic Four, today we will be focusing on a Fancast for the X-Men!
And a quick reminder, since we’ve had Doctor Strange appearing in Spider Man: No Way Home and the upcoming “Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness”, this leaves us more room for the entrance of past Marvel Characters from SONY and FOX like the Fantastic Four (2005 & 2007), X-Men (2000-2020), Hulk (2003), Deadpool (2016 & 2018), Fantastic Four (2015) and most importantly Spider Man (Tobey Maguire) and Spider Man (Andrew Garfield).
Scott Eastwood as Wolverine
Let’s start off with one of the main leaders of the X-Men! I will admit one thing and it’s the fact that Hugh Jackman is irreplaceable as this iconic character, and a lot of us might be trying to figure out who might fit the role. Some of us may have actors like Jon Bernthal, Keanu Reeves, Daniel Radcliffe and possibly Taron Egerton in mind 😂 The only one of these actors who would immediately crush the role without a doubt would definitely be Jon Bernthal, but now that we’ve already seen the appearance of Matt Murdock/Dardevil from Netflix’s Dardevil in Spider Man: No Way Home, this already gives Jon Bernthal his entrance as the Punisher from Netflix’s Punisher into the MCU! The key here is that you have to find an actor who’s not only great at acting but can go above the average of Hugh Jackman and that would have to be Scott Eastwood. What’s better than casting the son of one of the most badass actors out there, Clint Eastwood? I’ll tell you, Scott Eastwood is an amazing actor who’s best known for his roles as Staff Sergeant Clinton Romesha in The Outpost (2020), Nate Lambert in Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), Sergeant Miles in Fury (2014), Little Nobody in Fate of the Furious (2017), and his small cameo as a scared random victim in Gran Torino (2008). This all proves that Scott Eastwood has the heart and courage to take on the role of this iconic superhero, and he perfectly fits the character!
Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X
Now let’s jump to the real main leader of the X-Men, Professor Charles Xavier! This was a pretty simple character to find the right actor for. Giancarlo Esposito is an outstanding actor who’s well-known for taking on villainous roles in Movies and TV shows and since we’ve already seen him in A Galaxy Far Far Away (The Mandalorian), it’s time for him to make his way into Marvel! He’s best known for his roles as drug-kingpin Gus Fring in Breaking Bad (2008-2013) and the spin-off Better Call Saul, Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, and Jorge in The Maze Runner 1-3 (2014, 2015, 2018). Watching how much skills and courage this actor has immediately proves that he’s ready for any role and definitely deserves the role a leader of the team in the MCU!
Tyra Banks as Storm
Here’s a member of the team who was hard to find the right actress for and I ended up realizing that the role should go to Tyra Banks. I understand that she‘s more of a model rather than an actress but she’s well known for a few shows and movies such as her roles as Jackie Ames in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Nora Winston in Halloween: Resurrection (2002). Now a days, you see her on shows that are either just romantic or just talk about modeling, but now I think it’s time for her to finally make her debut in the MCU as Storm! She perfectly fits the role of this character and was definitely born to take on this role!
Pierce Brosnan as Magneto
This was another character that was pretty easy to find the right actor for! I know there are a ton of British actors out there who can take on the role of the iconic villain, but Pierce Brosnan perfectly fits the role! He’s well-known for his roles as 007, Peter Deveraux in The November Man (2014), Chiron in Percy Jackson 1 & 2 (2010 and 2013), and his most recent role as Richard Pace in The Misfits (2021). Pierce Brosnan is a very smart and intelligent actor who knows how to bring his on-screen characters to life, he’s going to be playing Dr. Fate in Black Adam (2022) in the DCEU and this proves that he’s ready to move on and take on a role in the MCU!
Bill Skarsgård as Nightcrawler
I had some trouble trying to find the right actor here since I know we’ve already seen Bill Skarsgård as Zeitgeist in Deadpool 2 (2018) and providing the voice of Kro in The Eternals (2021). Like I mentioned earlier before the review, the companies of FOX and SONY, Deadpool belongs to FOX and just voicing a character doesn’t mean anything. Think about it, J.K. Simmons played Mr. Jameson in SONY’s Spider Man (Tobey Maguire) and again in the MCU (Tom Holland), this proves that no matter under what circumstance, actors and characters can always be revived through different roles. Bill is best known for his roles as Pennywise in IT and IT Chapter Two (2017 and 2019), Matt in Allegiant (2016) and Roman Godfrey in Hemlock Grove (2013-2015), and we already know that’s ready to take on any heroic role!
LaKeith Stanfield as Beast
LaKeith Stanfield is such an amazing and smart actor who’s well known for a lot of amazing movies and he’s always been able to play any different type of role and this all proves that he definitely deserves a role in the MCU! LaKeith takes pride in any character he plays on the big screen and he always crushes the roles! He’s best known for his roles as Bill O’Neal in Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), Andre Logan King in Get Out (2017), Darius Epps in Atlanta (2016-present), Detective Lieutenant Elliot in Knives Out (2019), Snoop Dogg in Straight Outta Compton (2015), and Demany in Uncut Gems (2019). This all proves that LaKeith has crushed every role he’s ever played and that’s all you need to prove this actor is ready to take on a role in the MCU!
Holland Roden as Jean Grey
This was another character that was hard to find the right actress for knowing how many actresses can crush this role the same way Sophie Turner and Haley Ramm did. Holland is another actress who’s not really well known for a lot of roles but a few such as Rachel Ellis in Escape Room 1 and 2 (2019 & 2021), Erin in No Escape (2020), and Lydia Martin in Teen Wolf (2011-2017). Holland Roden is an outstanding actress who uses a lot of energetic skills when it comes to going on the big screen, and this is exactly the type of actress we need to play a role like Jean Grey in the MCU!
Alexandra Daddario as Mystique
If Elizabeth Daddario deserves a role in the MCU, please give her this role! She’s another amazing actress who’s able to achieve any task it takes to make her character on the big screen seem real, the same way Daisy Ridley did in Star Wars! She perfectly fits the position of this iconic character after watching her performances as Blake in San Andreas (2015), also in Percy Jackson 1 and 2 as Annabeth Chase, Lisa Tragnetti in True Detective (2014-2019), and Heather Miller in Texas Chainsaw (2013). Elizabeth isn’t only able to make her characters seem real and achieve any task it takes but she just fits any genre of movie as any type of character! This all proves that she’s ready to take on any role that she’s chosen for!
Elizabeth Gilles as Rogue
By far, Elizabeth Gilles is the perfect actress to take on the role of Rogue not only knowing how much they look alike but knowing how amazing it is the way she takes on serious roles like Fallon Carrington in Dynasty (2017-present) and Mandy in horror film Animal (2014). She also tends to be seen on comedic TV shows like Victorious and Big Time Rush, but she easily fits the role knowing how much pride she takes in her roles and the fact that’s she always ready to adapt to the situation that’s just about to occur! Anna Paquin crushed the role of Rogue but now it’s time for Elizabeth to take the place of this iconic character in the MCU!
John Boyega as Iceman
John Boyega is the perfect actor to take on this role and he would immediately crush it no questions asked. John is a very smart actor who became very popular through Star Wars, Pacific Rim 1 and 2, and The Circle (2017) which all made him this famous! Seeing him take on these iconic roles make him seem like the most obvious choice to go onto a new cinematic franchise that involves working with a team like the Avengers. When it comes to playing a character like Iceman, you have to find an actor who seems like they share the same traits of the Human Torch when it comes to using powers and going up against the most powerful villains!
Grant Gustin as Cyclops
This doesn’t need much of an explanation knowing how familiar we are with Grant’s role as CW’s Flash. These two both look exactly the same and it makes perfect sense knowing that we’re already familiar with Grant Gustin take on the role of a superhero, I originally had a few actors in mind for this character but I realized that Grant is the perfect pick also knowing the chemistry that Flash and Cyclops have in common, maybe not with powers but working in a lab with a team you’ve known for a very long time. Grant deserves to finally make his way into the big screen.
Ansel Elgort as Pyro
What’s better than trying to find the right actor for a Human Torch and Firestorm type of character? The answer is that it can be difficult knowing there are so many young action filled actors out there who were born to take on flaming type of characters. The last actor to play this character was Aaron Stanford and these two actors don’t only look close alike but they seem to play close to the same roles. Ansel is another outstanding actor who’s best known for his iconic roles in Baby Driver (2017) and as Caleb Prior in Divergent (2014), Insurgent (2015) and Allegiant (2016), he’s crushed all these roles as a crazy character who performs all these intense stunt sequences which easily prove that he’s ready to play a character in the MCU with real powers and not just one that just jumps, kicks and punches.
Jason Momoa as Sabretooth
This was by far one of the most simplest characters to find the right actor for and you can easily tell that an actor like this will perfectly crush the role! Jason’s not only known for Aquaman (2018) and Justice League (2017), but he’s also well known for his roles as Cooper in Netflix’s Sweet Girl (2021), Duncan Idaho in Dune (2021), his small time role in Game of Thrones (2011-2019), and Joe Braven in Braven (2018). Jason perfectly fits the position of Sabretooth knowing how much of an instinct they both have for fighting and how willing they should be to go against someone they feel completely fueled with, his role as Sabretooth would be amazing to see when he fights against Wolverine.
