Hope You All Enjoy these Flicks of the Week!
Must Monday:
American Heist (2014)

For those of you who are into heist movies, this is definitely going to be your best Pick of Flick for the week! This movie stars Hayden Christensen and Adrien Brody as brothers who don’t have much in common but must come to an agreement to team up for a heist! Despite their complicated relationship, they share some amazing moments when it comes to catching up, memories and bonding when it comes to habits and use of skills! This movie had great dialogue between all the actors and amazing scenes that are put in to make this movie a better and more entertaining experience as you sit through wondering what’s going to happen next! While it may not seem that popular, it’s definitely a Flick that you will still enjoy! Definitely a Flick you MUST Check Out! Currently Streaming on MAX
Terrible Tuesday:
Due Justice (2023)

This is another Flick that may look good from the poster but like they all say, “Don’t Let the Looks Fool You”. This movie stars Kellan Lutz as this former Marine who’s desperate for revenge and vengeance when his family is murdered but this plot lacks a couple of things, timing, sufficient dialogue and scene timing. This movie has and correlates to a good plot but at the same time, it’s hard to understand what’s really going on as you either hear pointless dialogue or scenes that just go back and forth which make the movie so much much more confusing! Definitely a Flick I wouldn’t recommend as it ultimately turned out to be TERRIBLE. Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video
War Wednesday:
Fury (2014)

For all you WAR Movie Lovers, this is absolutely a phenomenal piece of Cinema that follows the story of 4 Soldiers who fight for their life during the stages of World War II and must stick together like Brothers, Shia LaBeouf, Brad Pitt, Michael Peña and Jon Bernthal! While this movie isn’t based on any specific story or set of people, it closely entails the horrific stages and events of World War II! This movie does so well with the Storyline, Dialogue and Cinematography when it comes to witnessing a bloody war in where Soldiers fought for their life and heartfelt moments where you see the Soldiers bonding with each other along with the family! Definitely a Great Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Throwback Thursday:
The Paper (1994)

Now I know what you all might be thinking and believe me, I had no idea what this movie was once I scrolled upon it. I decided to check it out once I saw the cast lineup that consists of Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei, Randy Quaid (National Lampoon’s Vacation and Independence Day), Robert Duvall and Glenn Close (Father Figures and Guardians of the Galaxy)! In this one, we see the scenario of a Newspaper Industry in where Keaton operates but matters get real and serious when he gets a man amazing and a promising offer but things go awry with his new boss, Close, becoming more serious and violent. This movie has a good mix of Comedy and Seriousness which makes it entertaining to watch! This is a good choice of THROWBACK to Check Out if you have the time. Currently Streaming on Netflix
Funny Friday:
Ted 2 (2015)

What’s better than a day of relaxing and chilling to watch one of your favorite movies that do nothing but give you a good set of laughs! That’s exactly what this movie does as it feature the iconic return of Mark Wahlberg’s John Bennett and the foul mouthed Teddy Bear! Their friendship gets better and hilarious every time but now matters get real when Ted’s about to marry his girlfriend Tami-Lynn but now he must prove that he’s a person and not a thing so it’s up to all of them to fight through it all with the help of young Attorney, Amanda Seyfried! This movie is absolutely FUNNY and will give you a tremendous and heavier set of laughs than the 1st one! Definitely a Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on MAX
Hope you all Enjoyed These Flicks of the Week!
