Hope You All Enjoy these Flicks of the Week!
Must Monday:
21 Bridges (2019)

In honor of the Great Chadwick Boseman, there’s nothing better than checking out a Flick to honor his name, especially in Cinema! In this one as it serves as one of his last roles, he does such a spectacular job in playing an NYPD Detective alongside partner, Sienna Miller (Burnt) and Captain, JK Simmons! In this one, they must work to nab two young killers who are responsible for the death of 2 Police Officers so they must work their way through every connection and individual involved in order to catch them! This movie does so well in terms of the Storyline and the Dialogue which makes it so entertaining and amazing to watch! Definitely a Flick you MUST Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Terrible Tuesday:
Fan4stic (2015)

As we can all agree, this one doesn’t go without saying “It’s TERRIBLE”! This movie needs a lot more explaining as the casting had great actors but it could’ve been better, along with the Storyline in which it lacked so much potential to what could’be been so much better and instead it was wasted! I mean come on, now we’ve entered that generation of transporting?! Don’t get me wrong, that graphics were good but overall, this movie also lacked most of the Comics and turned out to be an epic piece of garbage! Definitely not a Flick to Check Out. Currently Streaming on MAX
War Wednesday:
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)

I know I might’ve already done a post on this movie, maybe once or twice but this is another Flick that you sometimes can’t just go past without giving it another watch as it stars Andrew Garfield as this inspiring War Hero during World War II! In this movie, we see him as this true hero who had a very rough past and childhood and must learn to conquer his fears during the war as he faces humungous obstacles and risking to fight and live by the 6th Commandment “Thou Shalt Not Kill” while saving all of his fellow veterans! To this very day, he is remembered as a true hero by the Veterans, Captains and Sergeants! This movie does so well in terms of accuracy in Storyline, scene structure and outstanding Dialogue! Definitely a great choice of Flick to Check Out for a pick ofWAR!
Currently Streaming on Netflix
Throwback Thursday:
Anger Management (2003)

There’s nothing better than checking out a Flick that stars 2 of the Best Actors as part of the Comedy Era, Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson! In this movie, we see the iconic duo become a pair when Sandler has trouble trying to cope with his own self and other people so he must start taking classes from Nicholson! In this THROWBACK, we see the two learn a little bit more about each other no matter how annoying or unnecessary it might sound and leads to a better chemistry between two 2! This movie is absolutely entertaining and hilarious to watch as it’s part of the 2000’s and gives you a better reason to watch and laugh! Definitely a Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Peacock
Funny Friday:
The King of Staten Island (2020)

During a time in where the world was in Lockdown, we were lucky enough to get a good set of laughs with a mix of seriousness in this semi biography about the life of Pete Davidson and I have to say and as we can all agree, it was absolutely incredible and hilarious! In this one, we see him trying to continue his life and move forward as he tries and continues to recover from losing his father during 9/11 but gets himself stuck in a set of mishaps that include his girlfriend, sister and mom, played by Marisa Tomei! We all get more amazing casting like Steve Buscemi and Bill Burr! This movie has a great mix of drama and comedy in this outstanding semi-biographical film! Definitely a Flick you Must Check Out if you haven’t already! Currently Streaming on MAX
Super Saturday:
Captain America: Civil War (2016)

With ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ coming out next year, there’s nothing better than going back with the prequel in where we also saw one the last appearances of John Hurt as General Ross🙏 In this one, matters get serious when it comes to the decision of involving government, leaving Captain America and Iron Man at odds! The suspense that builds up the action and battle is very amazing, interesting and brilliant to watch as we get to see strengths of both teams! This movie does so well with the action scenes, the Storyline and the addition of other characters, including their main entrance into the MCU! This movie is SUPER Amazing and Entertaining to watch! Definitely a Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Disney+
Chill full Sunday:
Aloha (2015)

As a movie that just hit Netflix and came out 9 year ago, I have to say that I was pretty impressed! This movie stars Bradley Cooper as a Military Contractor who is sent to Oahu, Hawaii and starts bonding with Emma Stone, a fighter pilot, and begin a relationship but life gets a little complicated when Cooper starts to learn more about his past, life and the current state of the environment! This movie has a very good and inspiring plot that makes it entertaining to watch, doing very well with mixing the Storyline with Comedy and Dramatic seriousness which makes it such a great movie to CHILL and watch! It’s a good Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
