Thriller Tuesday:
The Informer (2019)

This another amazing flic currently streaming on Netflix! When it comes down to watching crazy crime-thrillers these days, sometimes you don’t know what to expect toward the end like what’s going to happen or is somebody going to die? Not this one, another movie with not only an amazing cast but and outstanding plot line that consists of plans, mysteries to be unfolded, and everything you can expect and hope to have delivered in a thriller movie! This movie stars Joel Kinnaman as an undercover informant along with Ana de Armas as his partner, and the great Clive Owen as the villainous Montgomery! I didn’t know what to think of this movie after reading the plot but this movie turned out so much better than I was expecting! Currently streaming on Netflix for everyone to watch! I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
Wild Wednesday:
The Gray Man (2022)

This is a new movie that hit Netflix in July 2022 and this is a #1 movie you cannot skip over! Imagine watching a closely remade ‘6 Underground’ movie with not only a bigger and better cast lineup, but so many more insane stunt, fight, and shooting sequences! This movie stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas and Billy Bob Thornton! Ryan Gosling stars as a heroic CIA Agent named “Sierra Six” who’s on the run from the ruthless mercenary, Lloyd Hansen, who’s played by Chris Evans! Ryan Gosling’s life also depends on the help of his trusty CIA partner, played by Ana De Armas! This is a definite free watch for everyone who need something to watch on Netflix!
Terrible Thursday:
12 Rounds (2009)

What can I say about a movie that goes back to the end of the 2000’s, other than that it not only Starz a WWE fighter who was near the start of their acting career, but also a movie that was produced by WWE studios. This movie stars John Cena as a cop who’s girlfriend is kidnapped by a criminal who he previously arrested a year ago, and now her life is at risk after he accidentally got his girlfriend killed during his arrest. The criminal, who’s played by Aidan Gillens, challenges John Cena in order to get his girlfriend’s life saved but when he joins the game, his life is then put in a matter of Life and Death! Overall, this movie was good but you can see during a lot of the action scenes that they were all fake, especially when it comes to jumping off of helicopters and hanging from walls. If you want to check it out, it’s currently streaming on HBO Max!
Funny Friday:
The Week Of (2018)

What’s funnier than watching a Netflix original with the 2 old-school goats, Adam Sandler and Chris Rock? Just a movie that shows them both bonding with each other as if they were actually about to become in-laws when Adam Sandler’s daughter is about to marry Chris Rock’s son. Adam Sandler plays an ordinary Long Islander and Chris Rock plays a rich Cardiologist who resides in Los Angeles, California, who are about to become in-laws to each other but things start taking a bit of a turn when Chris Rock realizes the family Adam Sandler belongs to isn’t something he can get in terms with, especially for his son who’s about to marry Adam Sandler’s daughter. This is by far one of the most funniest comedies that stars these 2 old-school GOAT’s and literally illustrates what tends to go on in real life 😂 Definitely a hilarious movie to check out!
Sequel Saturday:
The Dark Knight (2008)

Now how do you top one of the best sequels made to one of the best Batman trilogies of all time?! You can’t with the best Batman who’s played by the great Christian Bale, no other actor can only top the work of Christian Bale but Heath Ledger’s performance of the Joker was just outstandingly phenomenal!🃏As everyone continuously thinks Christian Bale is the best Batman we ever got, he will forever be the best before Robert Pattinson, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck. The direction that Christopher Nolan brought this movie in terms of stunt sequences, fight sequences, script dialogue and casting was absolutely amazing, especially the iconic scene of the interrogation and the hospital explosion! “Why So Serious?” Check this movie out right away while it continues streaming on Hulu! 🦇👀
Shootful Sunday:
Training Day (2001)

Now this is another one of those popular movies of the 2000’s that you just can’t skip over especially because of it’s amazing cast lineup that consists of the iconic Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington! Seeing Denzel playing a villain is not something you see in all of his movies, and his take on being the film’s main antagonist is absolutely outstanding and perfectly made! His role as a corrupt training detective, Alonzo Harris puts new trainee Jake Hoyt, Ethan Hawke, on edge as he slowly continues to see the dirty work Alonzo’s behind! Definitely an amazing cop crime-thriller to check out on HBO Max! 🚓🔥👀
