Enjoy These Flicks Of The Week!
Must Monday:
The Departed (2006)

Let’s go back to the 2000’s when movies were really starting to tell stories that were based on real-life, in this case, Jack Nicholson plays someone who’s exactly based on Whitey Bulger! This movie tells close to the same story, taking place in Boston as well and crime starts taking place when Boston Cop, Leonardo DiCaprio, tries to get more intel on Jack Nicholson’s Frank Costello and his crew, also consisting of Criminal, Matt Damon, who’s then hired as a Spy to infiltrate the Police Department! As both know what game they’re put into, it’s up to both of them to not only fight and stop each other from doing what they do best but now they must figure out what one is really up to in this serious case! This movie is Outstandingly Well-Done with a Great Storyline and Cast Lineup consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin and Directed by the 🐐Martin Scorsese! Definitely a Great Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
Terrible Tuesday:
Dumb and Dumber To (2014)

Now I think we can all agree that this movie was absolutely Terrible and not even funny as compared to the Original! Of course we have Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels returning to their respective roles of Lloyd and Harry, but all of this just because of an old letter they found with the thought that Harry might be a Long-Lost Father. Now it’s time for them to go and find their long lost Love-Interest, Fraida Felcher from Cranston, to see if they go more information to see if they can get more of a clue on where she’s headed and who she might be biologically related to. Overall, rather than giving nearly the whole plot, this is Definitely not a Good Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Tubi
Wild Wednesday:
Joker (2019)

There’s nothing better than going through the past DC Movies that we’re expected to hopefully be a new start but even until today, they remain Outstandingly Great! Joaquin Phoenix stars as the Iconic Legendary DC Clown, The Joker! His portrayal of The Joker is So Amazing, Great, and Extremely in Depth! Playing a character like the Joker, especially in the form of 2 Personalities as Arthur Fleck and a Crazy Clown who has a Heart-On for killing people who mess with him or get in his way! This Movie’s Storyline is very Greatly Well-Done, giving a better understanding of the Joker. This is Definitely a Great DC Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
Throwback Thursday:
Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)

This is such a much better Sequel than the previous one I gave earlier in the Week! Actually, better than the 1st One🤣 Good-Ole Arnie returns once again as the Cybernetic Organism in this Futuristic Sequel, The Terminator, but not to kill Sarah Connor, this time to help her as he comes from another universal timeline! This time, a new Terminator comes in, the T-1000 comes to kill John Connor and now it’s up to Schwarzenegger’s T-800 to protect John and his Mother, Sarah! This movie was Absolutely Amazing with the rest of the Cast consisting of Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, Robert Patrick, Joe Morton and more familiar faces! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
Funny Friday:
Murder Mystery (2019)

To get ready for this Friday, it’s time to refresh the memory and see how everything went for Detective turned Cop Adam Sandler and Hairdresser Jennifer Aniston on their Anniversary in Europe! In this Amazing and Funny Gem, they star as this married couple who are meant to spend their Happy Anniversary in Europe but soon find their heads wrapped around this murder on a Yacht that soon puts them framed and now it’s up to them and their antics to find more clues that could lead them to who committed this murder of this Billionaire! Great and Funny Flick to Check Out and be ready for the Sequel hitting Netflix this Friday, March 31! Netflix Original
Shootful Saturday:
New Jack City (1991)

This movie does an outstanding job in taking inspiration of not only the Streets of New York City but also exactly how the crime took place during that time with those gangs who were Drug Dealing and part of Narcotics! Harlem is perfectly symbolized in this situation, especially in terms of the Police and how they were exactly shown as in real-life when these issues were very big during the 80’s, even though this movie was filmed in 1991. This movie has an Outstanding Storyline and Cast Lineup consisting of Wesley Snipes as the Crazy Drug Kingpin, Nino Brown, Ice-T, Chris Rock and other familiar faces! Definitely a Crazily Great Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
Suspenseful Sunday:
Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

Now Imagine being in that decade where movies from the 70’s-80’s are being remade and renamed differently but takes so much inspiration from the originals, with new elements! Law Abiding Citizen seems to be loosely based off of 1974’s Death Wish as this stars Gerard Butler as a Man who’s wife and daughter are murdered so now it’s not only up to him to find out who was up to this but finds himself in a place of Guilt and trying to make deals with Lawyer, Jamie Foxx! This is definitely a Great Flick to Check Out with an Outstanding and Interesting Plot! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
