Hope You All Enjoy These Flicks Of The Week!
Music Monday:
The Greatest Night in Pop (2024)

To be honest, I'm not very big on documentaries other than certain types but now that this is newly streaming, I thought it would be great to watch since we see the iconic story of how "We Are The World" came to life by brilliant pop singers! This movie was phenomenal in telling the backstory of how this song was brought together along with behind-the-scene facts that none of us probably knew! For those of you who aren't familiar with this song, it's about helping out Africa and it's carried by the title of "USA for Africa" and where we see great faces like Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Huey Lewis, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and many many more familiar faces! Definitely a Great Flick you MUST Check Out!
Currently Streaming on Netflix
Terrible Tuesday:
Cut Bank (2014)

For those of you who are familiar with ongoing Storylines that just tell the same story, this is exactly what this is. This movie has good casting that consists of Liam Hemsworth, John Malkovich, Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Dern and a couple more familiar faces but it lacks a lot more of the Storyline and could do better. This movie tells the story of murder witness in Montana hopes to influence and raise awareness on the murder to see if he can get some money. This movie is confusing and boring at most points and gets a little confusing with some plot twists which is why I really wouldn't recommend for it to be watched. Currently Streaming on MAX
Wild Wednesday:
Last Seen Alive (2022)

Now this is one WILD Flick in where we see the Great Gerard Butler take on the role of a caring husband who desperately seeks and fights through obstacles to find his kidnapped wife, played by Jaime Alexander! He even goes through police forces when it comes to taking serious matters into his own hands, no matter what it takes! Definitely a Great Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix (Netflix Original)
Throwback Thursday:
Jackie Brown (1997)

I know I already did a review for this movie not so long ago but I just chad to check it out again given it's outstanding Storyline and Pulp-Fiction related scenes because we all know that there's nothing better than checking out a Flick that is directed by the Great Quentin Tarantino! The Casting here is also phenomenal as it consists Robert De Niro, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Pam Grier, Chris Tucker and more familiar faces! This movie follows a flight attendant who's taken in for working for an arms dealing boss but must help agents take him down! Definitely a Great THROWBACK of a Flick to Check Out if you haven't already! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Funny Friday:
Get Hard (2015)

There's nothing better and FUNNIER than checking out 2 of the 🐐's in this Comedy in which we see Will Ferrell as a rich manager who gets framed for fraud and must ultimately face time in jail but relies on Kevin Hart to help get him ready for the worst! During this crazy time, they both start getting to know each other a lot better and get through a mix of many FUNNY and Serious moments together! Definitely a Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on MAX
Super Saturday:
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)

For this being the last Film in the DCEU, it was a good way to go out, especially seeing Jason Momoa in his last time as Aquaman! This may not be the last film we hoped to see it go out on but at least it's something good to remember. In this one, we see Aquaman return to defend his new family and present family that consists of his long-lost brother, played by Patrick Wilson! In this one, he must once again and finally face off Black Manta in an attempt to save his family and keep everyone safe! Not a bad Flick to Check Out, pretty SUPER! Currently Streaming on MAX
Shootful Sunday:
Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018)

For those of you who are familiar with the 1st one as this one stands as a Sequel, it's definitely a Great Flick to Check Out! In this one, we see the iconic returns of Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin as FBI Agent and operative on a newly dangerous task of handling and taking care of a Mexican Drug Kingpin who starts smuggling terrorists across the U.S. Border and SHOOTFUL tensions get higher and higher! This movie was good but in my own opinion, the 1st one was much better and the Storyline was definitely a lot better than this one. Not a bad Flick to Check Out. Currently Streaming on
Amazon Prime Video (Amazon Rental)
