Enjoy These Flicks Of The Week!

Must Monday:

Project Power (2020)

Now this is one great flick that stars the šŸā€™s Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jamie Foxx as Levitt plays this New Orleans Cop and Jamie Foxx plays this former Soldier in the future! They have no choice but to team up and embark on a mission to find out who’s behind this pill that gives them these crazy powers that includes helping them not get killed. We all know that Futuristic movies usually turn out really good but all of this movie’s fight sequences and energy-giving sequences really make this movie extremely interesting to watch and understand the possibilities of what the future could give cinema ! This is definitely šŸ’Æ a Must Watch! Currently Streaming on Netflix! (Netflix Original)

Terrible Tuesday:

Spider Man 3 (2007)

Ok, it’s been a while since this movie released in theaters and everyone has to change their opinions at some point, especially now but this Spider Man movie in particular will always be seen as pointlessly rushed all just to show things that weren’t even needed! Of course we all know we see the returns of Tobey Maguire as Spider Man, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane and James Franco as Harry Osborn. This movie takes a dark turn not only in the Black-Suited Spider Man but all of a sudden, Harry has this ongoing hate with Peter, especially now that he knows he’s Spider Man which all started with the thought of him thinking that Spider Man killed his father and now there’s a New Goblin? Another thing, what’s the story with Eddie Brock? Topher Grace’s portrayal of Eddie Brock is good but it just doesn’t reach too many expectations, like he’s nothing compared to the Venom in the Comics. Instead, he’s seen as this villainous, arrogant, dramatic and jealous revengeful guy who just wants revenge on Peter and this was all because Sam Raimi was pushed to put him in the movie! I know we have Spider Man: No Way Home but some things still remain unclear, like did Peter and MJ ever get back together? Not the best, but Currently Streaming on HULU

Wedful Wednesday:

Shotgun Wedding (2023)

If you actually need a movie to laugh at, this is definitely the one!šŸ˜‚ Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Lopez Star in this movie as soon to be Husband and Wife but things start to turn out not as planned when guests start going crazy and pirates suddenly attack the island. While they plan to escape the pirates and head to safety, little do they know about certain survival skills so they soon find themselves to be in danger but in laughing moments at the same time! While the pirates tend to be very bad, there come certain moments where you’ll start to see their light side and things that lead up to it which will do nothing but make you laugh so much more!🤣 The cast lineup is great as always consting of Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Coolidge and other familiar faces! You hilariously check this out! 🤣 Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video!

Tournament Thursday:

Critical Thinking (2020)

Now with a title like this, a lot of us might either be thinking of a very smart person or not even knowing what to think but this movie means a lot more than it’s named! In this Biographical Movie, John Leguizamo portrays this true Cuban-American teacher named Mario Martinez, who’s a Miami High School teacher for this Chess class and labeled as an ā€œeasyā€ elective. As everyone starts to be in his class, they all refer to him as Mr. T and realize that he’s one of those teachers that takes not joke in teaching, no matter if it’s for an actual subject or a game that seems like a matter of life or death to him! As he starts to ready his class for teaming, he finds these students who he feels like have a chance at beating other schools in a game competition of Chess but things start taking a turn for the worse when he finds out that the kids tend to be up to no-good during the worst moments and feels like this is a negative for the upcoming tournament so he starts getting in the way to make them better individuals! This is such a motivational movie that will bring you to tears as you watch it! Definitely šŸ’Æ a Great Flick to check out! Currently Streaming on Netflix

Funny Friday:

Due Date (2010)

Have any of you guys seen that old movie from the 80’s ā€œPlanes, Trains and Automobilesā€? Whether you have or haven’t, this movie is like a remake but except rather than trying to get home for the holidays, it’s trying to get home to be on time for the baby to be born! Robert Downey Jr. stars as this man who’s heading home for his first baby but unfortunately runs into Zach Galifiankis who stars as this actor who he ends up switching bags with at the terminal which eventually leads them to both get kicked off the Airplane, leaving them both no choice but to travel in a car together for nothing but a long catastrophic ride! They gave many mishaps along the way with each other and other things that are capable of keeping them from getting home on time which only makes matters worse for Robert Downey Jr. The chemistry between these two actors, no matter what their scene consists of is nothing but hysterical to watch🤣As they both get to know each other in the movie, it’s so entertains as one is very serious while the other just doesn’t take matters so seriously!

Secret Saturday:

The Gift (2015)

This movie doesn’t seem as popular as other movies listed here, but as I was scrolling through Netflix, I came across this hidden gem and recognized a few familiar faces like Jason Bateman and Joel Edgerton. Jason Bateman is a great actor who crushes any role he’s given whether it’s a comedic or serious role, but this movie wasn’t as good as it might sound. This movie stars Jason Bateman as he moves into this new house with his wife in California but things don’t go properly as planned as he runs into an old colleague from High School, Joel Edgerton. Things seem fun at first, especially with Bateman’s wife but he starts noticing some red flags when they start to catch up and when Edgerton sees that he’s getting suspicious and acting different, this causes him to start being exposed of hidden secrets from their past together. Not really the best, but Currently Streaming on Netflix

Suspenseful Saturday:

7500 (2019)

As compared to all those other movies that are shown on planes, this movie was and still is perfectly well done for just one huge masterpiece that was entirely filmed in an A320 Cockpit! Joseph Gordon Levitt is an outstanding actor who does great in playing an Airline Pilot who tries to keep his passengers safe but is suffering at the same time through the control, hesitation, desperation, despair and harm that these hijackers are putting him and his passengers through, similar to 1992’s Passenger 57, this movie perfectly captivates what it’s like to be put through a situation like this especially when it comes to the scenes of hijacking! This is definitely one to check out. Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video! (Amazon Prime Original)

Hope You All Enjoyed These Amazing Flicks!
