Come Check Out These Flicks For The Week!
Must Monday:
Goodfellas (1990)

“As Far Back As I Can Remember, I Always Wanted To Be A Gangster.” Now there’s nothing even better than watching such a popular movie that tells the true story of gangsters and their rise to getting into the Mafia! This is an incredible movie that stars Joe Pesci as Tommy Devito, starting young trying to make his way to the top with friend Henry Hill, played by Ray Liotta (RIP), meeting with Gangsters Jimmy Conway, Robert De Niro and Paul Cicero, Paul Sorvino (RIP). Every performance from all of these actors is always the best, no matter what kind of they’re taking! From the iconic film series “The Godfather” to another Outstanding
Mob-Style Movie, with great acting, casting, music, fights, historical sequences and so much more for a 2hr and 26 minute movie directed by the Great Martin Scorsese! More of this cast features Lorraine Bracco as Henry Hills Wife, Frank Vincent as Billy Batts, and Samuel L. Jackson as Parnell “Stacks” Edwards, Tony Sirico as Tony Stacks, and Michael Imperioli as Spided! Definitely must check this one out! Currently Streaming on Philo!
Terrible Tuesday:
Uncut Gems (2019)

OK, I know a lot of people enjoyed this movie and thought nothing but the best of it and I can totally understand, especially from a movie made by A24 Films and the Safdie Brothers. Don’t get me wrong, Adam Sandler did an outstandingly amazing job in playing his first serious role on the big screen along with actors aside LaKeith Stanfield, Idina Mendel and retired Celtics Player Kevin Garnett! This movie shows Adam Sandler as this Jeweler in 2012 who tends to put his life at risk a lot when he places bets, gambles and sells expensive items, causing him to put everything aside to try and cut ties and make ends meet with his brother-in-law and mafia friends. While he’s at it, he faces so many adversaries and obstacles along the way that only make things harder and sadder for him. There’s a lot more to the story if you want to watch it, it’s listed as terrible and of course you’ll see why later on but the elements of the movie were good. Currently streaming on Peacock.
Wild Wednesday:
Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)

We all know that this series all takes place in the world of the 90's to 2000's "Jurassic Park" Series and this time, we definitely all know that there's nothing better than seeing the Iconic Returns of Legends from an original franchise to come back and do what they were once great at with Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard! This includes the Iconic Returns of the O🐐's Sam Neill's Alan Grant, Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcolm, and of course Laura Dern's Ellie Sattler! It was awesome seeing these returns and of course Chris Pratt's Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing, although this movie seems like it's taking a new approach with the infestation of Dinosaurs and the storyline that helps dig deport into the main origin along with Over The Top Fight and Stunt scenes and sequences! Definitely a Must Watch, Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video!
Thriller Thursday:
The Wrath Of Man (2021)

Jason Statham is another one of those actors that never goes one movie of his that he doesn't crush the role! This is an outstanding flick that consists of a Great Caste Lineup including Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Andy Garcia, Josh Hartnett and many more familiar faces! In this one, Jason Statham plays a Security Guard for a Cash Truck who's very skilled in performing Heists but suddenly has to use those skills when it comes to protecting himself and his team, hopefully trying to leave his enemy (Scott Eastwood) and his team out of knowing who and what he really is. There come certain moments in the movie when scenes go back and forth from one previous moment to another, which will also put you in a position of questions of what's going to happen next?! This is definitely an 💯 Flick to check out! Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video!
Funny Friday:
Bullet Train (2022)

兄貴 兄弟もオフクロも (Yo, Stayin’ Alive, Stayin’ Alive) This movie is nothing but the best with a great storyline, line of acting, dialogue and a great cast lineup consisting of Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry and so many other familiar faces that you’ll know right away! This movie starts off starring Brad Pitt as this assassin who’s mission gets messed up right as he’s stepping foot on a speeding train Tokyo! His only choice is to take his chances under his code name “Ladybug” and face off against the villainous Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson. It’s Action and Thriller combined with so much Comedy which makes it so funny and entertaining to watch at the same time!🤣 Currently Streaming on Netflix
Sequel Saturday:
Vacation (2015)

You know for a sequel to a popular movie franchise that happens to take place years later without the original cast, happens to be an incredibly hilarious movie!😂 In this funny sequel, Ed Helms stars as good old Russell Griswold from the original “Vacation” movie film series who chooses to redo his childhood vacation to Walley-World with his wife, played by Christina Applegate, and 2 sons! On the way there, as originally in the first movie, they face many mishaps and inconveniences that make them feel like Walley-World wasn’t the best idea but they end up realizing it’s so much worth of a long road trip. Definitely a “one-way ticket” to a great hilarious flick to check out! Currently streaming on HBO Max!
Super Sunday:
Batman (1989)

”You Wanna Get Nuts?! Come On, Let’s Get Nuts!” That’s right, there’s nothing better than taking a Sunday like this not only to see a Classic Superhero Film but get ready for the Iconic Return of Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader! Don’t get me wrong, Christian Bale was a great Batman and Heath Ledger was a great Joker, but this movie is way before and the acting and chemistry between Michael Keaton’s Batman and Jack Nicholson’s Joker is outstandingly amazing and entertaining to watch! Jack Nicholson crushes the role of the Joker, especially showing someone who originally goes from a Gangster to a Laughing Killing Clown who’s responsible for the death of Bruce Wayne’s Parents! Definitely a Must Watch, Currently Streaming on HBO Max!
