Come Check Out These Flicks For The Week!

Must Monday:

The Expendables 3 (2014)

Out of the 3 Action-Packed Thriller Movies of this awesome franchise, this is #šŸ’Æ!!!! I know this movie didn’t receive that many good reviews at the time and even now isn’t as liked by that many people, but I think this movie did awesome in my own opinion! Here we start the movie off with the return of half the original team of šŸā€™s featuring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture breaking out former team member Doc, played by Wesley Snipes. Soon after reuniting and catching up on missions, they meet up again with Hale Caesar, played by Terry Crews, to stop a Bomb shipment but are soon found and confronted my former Expendables Co-Founder turned Arms-Dealer and Trader, Conrad Stonebanks, played by another 🐐 Mel Gibson, who injures Caesar on the job putting him into a coma. Stallone’s Barney Ross feels like there’s nothing else they can do with the team so he goes ahead recruiting a younger team consisting of Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, Glen Powell, and Ronda Rousey. I’d rather not say as much because I don’t want to explain the whole plot of the movie šŸ˜‚ and of course as always, the incredible cast lineup is right at the top of the Poster! Currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video only until February 1!

Terrible Tuesday:

Fant4stic (2015)

I mean what was the point of this movie?! Thanks to the obvious company of FOX wasting money on such a pointless movie that was never gonna have anything to do with the Marvel Cinematic UniversešŸ˜‚ This movie was in development for a while all just to be a waste of time while the movie itself was not only short like but also messes with the original Fantastic Four Origin Story like instead of properly going to space to gain superpowers, they’re put in a transportation to an unknown planet, like you’re basing it exactly off of Star Trek! To be honest, I remember seeing this movie in the theaters when it came out and I thought it was decent at the time but now I look at it as TERRIBLE, pointless, boring and I’m glad this movie never got the planned sequel they were looking to get. Streaming on Disney+

Wild Wednesday:

Logan (2017)

Do you ever sit and wonder what ever happened after the previous events of a certain movie that features a huge battle or the story of a mutant-killing creature who spends so much of his life on a team? This movie takes place in the future showing an aging-retired Logan working as a Limo Driver in El Paso, Texas and taking care of former Professor Xavier. This movie is based on the X-Men comic titled Old Man and I really think the theme perfectly fit the movie and it’s moments, especially when it shows a former superhero trying keep his life together instead of depicting the movie as the usual mutant-team fighting superhero movie. The way this movie plays out though is remarkably outstanding and easy to connect to his life in trying to keep everyone safe and takes all the real-life aspects blending them together to create a depressed, lonely, emotional, near-end type of life. Usually movies like this don’t play out that well but this movie did great, and even was nominated for an OSCAR! There never goes one movie where Hugh Jackman doesn’t crush the role of the Six-Clawed Mutant, Wolverine! Currently streaming on Disney+!

Throwback Thursday:

Days Of Thunder (1990)

What’s better than starting off the 90’s with an outstanding NASCAR Race-Car movie starring one of the best šŸā€™s of all-time? Tom Cruise stars as this NASCAR driver, Cole Trickle, who goes against his rival, Rowdy Burns, played by Michael Rooker, who both race against each other and both end up getting injured bringing them as better of friends. Trickle is soon able to get back on the race track when he meets and falls for this doctor helping him, Nicole Kidman. While Burns still has to heal, Trickle takes his place back on the Race-Track facing a much bigger rival, Russ Wheeler who is played by Cary Elwes. Rivalries get bigger and bigger as this progresses, usual NASCAR movies don’t show and gives as much detail but this is probably one of the best Car-Racing movies that’s ever been made with an oustanding cast lineup also featuring Randy Quaid, Robert Duvall and John C. Reilly! Definitely a great flick to check out on Paramount+!

Funny Friday:

Get Hard (2015)

You know those hilarious comedy stand Ups that they always put on, bringing together the funniest actors of the time?! Now imagine that but in an actual moviešŸ˜‚ This movie stars the Legends Will Ferrell as this rich man who is convicted of fraud and sentenced to 25 years in a Maximum Security Prison and needs the help of Car Wash Owner Kevin Hart, who’s saving up to get his daughter in a better in school district, to help get him ready for prison and even possibly find out who set him up. During the movie, there are so many random funny moments that’ll have nothing to do with certain scenes and then comes in the hilarious iconic chemistry between the two getting to know each otheršŸ˜‚ It’s hilarious to watch!

Shootful Saturday:

American Assassin (2017)

Now if you’re looking for not only an outstanding flick, but another movie with a great cast lineup, this is definitely one to check out!!!! This movie stars Dylan O’Brien as this victim whose girlfriend is murdered while they’re on vacation in Spain, while he spends close to a year training to seek revenge on the people responsible for her death, he gets taken by CIA Operative and former Navy SEAL played by Michael Keaton! As Michael Keaton starts training Dylan O’Brien and the rest of the crew, consequences and situations tend to get bigger and out of hand when they’re trying to find an stop an operative trying to start a Global War. This movie also stars Scott Adkins, Taylor Kitsch, and other famous people, currently streaming on HULU!

Sequel Sunday:

Toy Story 4 (2019)

Why do certain movies that have the perfect ending get a sequel that isn’t even needed and is only going to make things more different and make no sense out of the situation? The way this movie plays out from the beginning to the end is nothing but dumb, pointless and sad. The movie starts off showing Woody being the only toy being more left out but starts trying to be put back in when Bonnie starts school, leading to the creation of a new toy, Forky! Next thing you know it, Bonnie and her parents take a road trip with Woody coming along with all the other toys like Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, The Potato-Heads, Trixie and the rest of the gang. Woody is obligated and forced to make sure Forky is safe in the RV but things start heading in the wrong direction when Woody has to end jumping off the Van to save Forky and get him to the town they’re headed to. When they finally make it to town, Woody finds former toy and love-interest, Bo-Peep in an old antique shop and from there, they start catching up bringing their old gang together in an attempt to save Forky. This is another one I’d rather not say the rest of the plot for because it could be another spoiler to those who haven’t seen it, all I will say is that this movie isn’t what you’d be hoping for from a popular Disney series like Toy Story. Currently streaming on Disney+.

Hope You All Enjoy These

GREAT FLICKS
