Enjoy These Flicks Of The Week!
Must Monday:
Hustle (2022)

I know I already did a review on this movie but I couldn’t help but just watch it again. The minute you start watching this movie and see Adam Sandler in a serious role, it does nothing but impress you and give you a glimpse of what this actor’s capable of! I know he already played a serious role in “Uncut Gems” but a lot of us can agree that didn’t turn out as well but this movie is so inspirationally motivating as Adam Sandler stars as this Basketball Scout who’s desperately looking for the right player to move his way up to an Assistant Basketball Coach through the dribbling hands of this great Spain Player but faces so many mishaps and obstacles along the way, partially due to the former 76ers owner’s son, Ben Foster. Overall, this movie is outstanding and one great Sports Movie!🏀 More of this cast consists of Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall, Ben Foster, Juancho Hernangómez and other famous athletic stars! Currently Streaming on Netflix (Netflix Original)
Terrible Tuesday:
24 Hours To Live (2017)

Don’t get me wrong, there’s no doubt at all that Ethan Hawke is a great actor and I understand that the directors of this movie kind of wanted us to know and have an idea of what this movie would be about and despite knowing, it still turned out Terrible. Hawke stars as this mercenary who gets killed during this mission and gets resurrected in this lab with an in-body clock giving him the amount of time he has to live (24 Hours). I won’t go too much into the movie but all I can say is that he continues fighting his way to save a family before it’s his time to go but the fight and driving sequences were all very good but the movie’s storyline is not very good. Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video
Wild Wednesday:
Beast (2022)

This is what I consider my actual “Wild” Movie Review as it follows one angrily intense lion who’s after a father and his two daughters! It starts off with this father, Idris Elba, who takes his daughters to Africa for a vacation and meets up with an old family friend as they’re about to embark on a South African journey! Not so long after they start being followed and soon to be prey by a ferocious bloodthirsty Lion!!!! It’s up to the Father and his friend to keep everyone safe and get to safety as soon as possible! Definitely a Great Flick! Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video
Throwback Thursday:
Be Cool (2005)

For those of you who aren’t familiar with this 2000’s Gem, this is the sequel to one of the most iconic movies on the 90’s, Get Shorty! Once again, Travolta is back as Gangster turned Movie Producer, Chili Palmer, and soon to be in the Music Business! Things start getting messed up when his friend gets murdered and then he meets meets up with his widowed wife, Uma Thurman, and soon have to be held up by this Pimp Boss, Vince Vaughn! For a movie that may seem serious to you, there is definitely comedy in here but it feels like so much more of a serious movie with a blend of comedy and that’s hard to do with it being so amazing that they were able to pull that off! That’s what makes this movie so iconically good with an amazing storyline and a great cast lineup consisting of John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Danny Devito, Vince Vaughn, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Cedric the Entertainer, and Harvey Keitel. Do these actors seem familiar to you? John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Harvey Keitel acted together in Pulp Fiction back in 1994! Definitely a Great Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Amazon Prime Video
Funny Friday:
R.I.P.D (Rest In Peace Department) (2013)

What’s better than watching the 2 Marvel Goats together in a totally different take? It’s nothing but hilarious, especially in this one!😂 Ryan Reynolds plays this cop who gets killed during a heist and gets sucked into this sky hole soon to be put into the R.I.P.D, soon working with none other than Roy Pulsipher, Jeff Bridges, to stop this mysterious evil plotted plan! Such a Funny Flick to check out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Super Saturday:
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies (2018)

I will admit that this remake of the Teen Titans show wasn’t as good but this movie is so undoubtedly good even today! This time we see the Teen Titans trying to get their own movie but then it’s their to prove themselves and their true potential when they’re trying to get themselves on the Big Screen! This has a surprising cast lineup like Nicolas Cage as Superman! Originally going to play in 1998! Currently Streaming on HBO Max
Storytelling Sunday:
The Founder (2016)

Are you all familiar with the story of how the Iconic Fast Food Restaurant came to life? This is the one find out the true story behind the man who brought it to life, Ray Kroc, played by Michael Keaton! I know this movie came out 6 years ago but it’s so amazing how he was able to meet the McDonald brothers and try to a create a multi-billion dollar empire! This is such a great story and very interestingly entertaining to watch! Currently Streaming on Netflix
