Hope You All Enjoy These Flicks Of The Week!
Must Monday:
Smokin' Aces (2006)

Now for those of you who are in need of a Great Flick, this is definitely your best pick! This movie is absolutely Phenomenal as it follows the battle of the FBI and crime boss who are against time before a deal pulls through! The Storyline here is absolutely amazing with awesome elements that give the scenes more of a reason to sit through and just get into the scene, giving the actors great dialogue! Also consisting of a Great Cast Lineup consisting of Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liotta🙏, Andy Garcia, Ben Affleck and many more familiar faces that you’ll definitely recognize! Definitely a Flick you MUST Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Terrible Tuesday:
Running Scared (2006)

It’s always good to honor Paul Walker🙏, checking out not only the Fast Series but also some of his other classics, but this one was not the best. In this Flick, he plays this Mafia guy who takes this weapon from a killer but soon gets found by his neighbor’s stepson. Now Walker finds himself in a tight situation in trying to find killers and this kid who runs off! This movie’s Storyline isn’t really and properly well-done, even though it follows a matter of time, suspense and action. Not really a Flick I’d recommend. Currently Streaming on MAX
Wild Wednesday:
Taken (2006)

Now there’s nothing better than watching the 🐐Liam Neeson step into action in this very Iconic Flick in which was one of his first that was starting to make him more famous asides from his roles as Qui Gon-Jinn and in 1999’s the Phantom Menace and Ra’s Al Ghul in Batman Begins! This time he’s back in action to save his daughter while on a trip in Paris, so using his past skills as government operative; he must use everything he’s gained and follow the steps to “FIND her and KILL the kidnappers”! This movie contains so many good fight sequences, spy-related elements along with a Great Storyline! Definitely a WILD Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Throwback Thursday:
Raging Bull (1980)

What’s better than chilling on a Thursday watching a very popular Flick of the early 80’s that stars the OG’s Robert De Niro as the true Legendary Boxer, Jake LaMotta, alongside Joe Pesci as his brother Joey! This inspiring true story tells the Legend behind Jake and his desperate attempt to earn his first shot in the ring! The overall Storyline that goes in depth with Jake’s life is truely amazing for an early 80’s biopic, especially his attempt at love and things he must stay away from! Definitely a THROWBACK of a Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on
Amazon Prime Video
From Game to Movie Friday:
Gran Turismo (2023)

To be honest, aside from 1990’s Days Of Thunder, I wasn’t sure what to expect from racing movies but this one was definitely worth a watch! Now that it has just hit streaming, it’s an absolutely excellent true story behind the man behind the game wheel to the man man behind the actual wheel, Jann Mardenborough, when he gets picked from all the Gran Turismo game players after his successful achievement of beating the lap and time, he gets called to the GT Academy in hopes to win and become a hopeful professional Race-Car Driver! This movie consists of amazing graphics just like a video game and great true-story details about this event that took place in 2008! Archie Madekwe does a great performance of Jann alongside David Harbour as his trainer! Definitely a Great and Inspiring Flick to Check Out! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Sequel Saturday:
Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget (2023)

For a SEQUEL that literally took 23 Years to release, it still carries the same comedic tone as it did a while back, but now it’s back, better and funnier than ever! This movie follows the further adventures of Rocky and Ginger with their new kid along with the rest of the Chicken team! This time, they face a new threat in the human world but they’re always ready to stick together and fight for their life. Definitely a Sequel that’s worth a Watch! Currently Streaming on Netflix
Super Sunday:
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

OK, I have to say that this movie was my favorite when it released and I’ll still watch it but the feeling doesn’t hit right now knowing that the DCEU is officially over. Ben Affleck did a great job as Batman alongside Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and newly Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. What kind of casting is Eisenberg as Luthor, could you get anyone more young and nerd-related? The graphics and the Storyline in this movie weren’t bad, especially when it came to origins. Not a bad movie to Watch if you haven’t already. Currently Streaming on Netflix
