The Expendables 4 Dream Cast

For those of you who haven’t heard of “The Expendables”, it’s an amazing film series filled with the old action stars like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, and many many more later stars! For a while, it was rumored that a fourth film was in development and now according to what actors of the movie have been saying, it is now finally back in development and set to start filming! Here are some actors that I would hope to see either in the 4th film or movies going forward!

Jackie Chan

This is an amazing actor known for his involvement in the Rush Hour film series, The Foreigner, and The Karate Kid (2010). These movies have shown that he’s able to kick ass when it comes to karate and using guns! I think he would fit the position for when it comes to either being a new expendable or to being the film’s main antagonist!

Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell is an amazing actor known for a lot of famous old and new roles! Some of those roles include Tango and Cash (1989), Tombstone, Escape from New York and LA, The Hateful Eight, and most importantly his important role as Mr. Nobody in the Fast and Furious franchise! He’s known to kick ass in a lot of his roles but seeing his performances show that if he was to appear in the Expendables, he would either come as a new expendable or a CIA agent. Bruce Willis played Mr. Church (CIA agent) in the 1st and 2nd movie until Harrison Ford replaced him in the 3rd movie as a new character named Max Drummer (CIA agent).

Clint Eastwood

This is a 90 year old actor who’s not only still acting but he can still direct a ton of movies! He‘s known for some great western classics such as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and Unforgiven, his role as Dirty Harry, Gran Torino, and his latest performance in The Mule (2018). He may not have as much energy in him to fight but he definitely has enough energy in him to stand up against a gang and give a little bit of Walt Kowalski (Gran Torino) and Dirty Harry on them! It would be great to see him in this movie as a retired agent and help the Expendables out on their next mission!

Danny Trejo

Danny Trejo is a bad-ass actor known for his roles in a lot of action movies such as Machete, Con Air, Desperado, and Death Race. He was rumored to be in the 1st Expendables but rumors were denied. He should join the 4th movie as a new expendable knowing how much energy and strength he has in him to kick ass with his fists and sufficient weapons.

Pierce Brosnan

This is another actor well known for his role as 007 and to be honest, I think he would fit in this series either as a hero or a villain. In the first film, Eric Roberts played the main villain known as James Munroe, and there were many actors considered for the role before he was cast, such as, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, and Ben Kingsley. I think Pierce Brosnan would’ve crushed the role as well! He was once considered to join the series a while ago and when he was questioned about joining the series, his response was “I might appear in the 7th installment.”😂

Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is a great actor known for his amazing roles as Alonzo Harris in Training Day, Robert McCall in the Equalizer, Bobby Trench in 2 Guns, and Tobin Frost in Safe House. Watching Denzel take on these types of roles make it so easy to determine what type of role he can play in The Expendables, meaning he can take on the role of a hero or a villain!

Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves in another amazing actor known for a lot of action roles such as Johnny Utah in Point Break, Neo in The Matrix, Jack Traven in Speed, and most recent his role as John Wick! If he got casted in the Expendables, I can somehow see him playing an assassin trying to take out the Expendables! If he was put on the team with the Expendables, he would definitely be a hard guy to take out knowing all his ninja like abilities and the passion he has for guns and killing his enemies!

Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage is an amazing actor most known for his roles as Castor Troy in Face/Off, Ghost Rider, Con Air, and Stolen. He can play a crazy hero or a villain in any movie but if he was to appear in The Expendables, I can definitely see him joining the team by being one of the main experts at guns and enemies! In other words, I can see his character coming into the movie already having an idea of what’s going on and getting ready to get back in action!

John Travolta

John Travolta is a great actor known for his role as Sean Archer in Face/Off, Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, Howard Saint in The Punisher (2004), and Gabriel Shear in Swordfish. John Travolta can play good guy or a bad guy in any movie but when it comes to The Expendables, I think he would perfectly fit the series as a villain similar to 1st film. If he was to play a hero in this movie, it would be something similar to his role as Charlie Wax in From Paris with Love!

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan isn’t really much an actor other than his appearance in Rocky III due to his involvement in WWE but it would be great to see him join the team as more of a trained fighter and using guns at the same time. He would be somewhat similar to Terry Crews.

Jean Claude Van Damme

Jean Claude Van Damme played the main antagonist in the Expendables 2, named Jean Vilain. He expressed interest in appearing in the 4th film as Jean’s twin brother. If he was given a name, it would work best as Claude Vilain.
