Spiral (2021)

The SAW franchise has to be one of the best horror movie franchises, but this movie takes place 4 years after the events of Jigsaw (2017) with new characters who we never saw in the past movies, such as Chris Rock as Det. Zeke Banks, Marisol Nichols as Capt. Angie Garza, and Samuel L. Banks as Marcus Banks. They took this one to a whole other level. I mean what is it with movies these days, all of them seem to have bad endings with either a death we weren’t expecting, an ending that leaves on a high note, or one that just has a confusing ending that leaves everyone in question! In this movie, it’s hard to even identify who the main killer is knowing how many people they put as suspicions, it’s usually pretty straightforward to identify a killer through clues and signs we see throughout movies but in this case scenario, so many people who were either getting killed or accused were the ones who were being looked at! Just thinking back to “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum” (2019), that movie was just full of killing the whole movie as compared to this one, that’s all we see throughout Spiral! All I can really say about the ending of this movie is that we really need more of an explanation after this one ended.
