As we’ve heard the recent News of Jon Watts leaving as director for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, it thankfully gives more time for them to find a new director and give us an idea for a new cast! So in that case! First Off!

John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards

As he’s mostly considered, rumored, and most obvious choice for the role, he fully deserves it! John Krasinski has the proper look and the ability to play the leader of a strong team, especially seen in a lot of his roles such as A Quiet Place Part 1 & 2, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and 13 Hours which all easily show John’s skill and method of acting when it comes to taking a certain role that mostly revolves around being a strong hero. When he’s playing a hero, he knows his requirements and ways around bringing not only his family and his team to safety but other people who are in danger which is why John’s just perfect for the role.
Emily Blunt as Invisible Woman/Sue Storm

How hard can it be to find the right actress for the role of the wife of Mr. Fantastic when there’s no-one better to take the role other than, the wife of John Krasinski, Golden Globe Winner Emily Blunt! Blunt takes every role she plays so seriously and those roles usually end up consisting of courage, strength and intelligence starting from her role as the mother Sara in Looper, Kate Macer in Sicario 1 and 2, and Rita Vrataski in Edge of Tomorrow. Of course she’s had other amazing roles in her career but these all show us that she’s got the intelligence and charisma in her to play the smart wife of Reed Richards and help assist the team when it comes to interfering with powerful villains or unexpected creatures.
Ben Hardy as Human Torch/Johnny Storm

Now I know we’ve already seen Ben Hardy in Marvel, X-Men: Apocalypse, but what can go wrong when we already have Oscar Isaac playing Moon Knight when he also starred in X-Men: Apocalypse? It’s no problem, Ben Hardy is a young actor who’s starting to rise to popularity since his big role as Roger Taylor the drummer in Bohemian Rhapsody and Four in 6 Underground. Even though we’ve already seen him in Marvel, his big debut in the MCU would be a groundbreaking experience and immediate rise to fame. He also carries courage and charisma when it comes to taking a serious role as a full-action hero and that’s what makes him perfect to play the outgoing brother of Invisible Woman.
John Cena as The Thing/Ben Grimm

While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the most wanted and admired choice for the The Thing, I personally think the role should go to John Cena. Cena is another actor starting to rise to popularity since WWE and deserves his rightful spot in the MCU even though he’s already been put in DCEU. He did portray Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad and the spin-off series ‘Peacemaker’ but now that his character was killed off, this would be a tremendous opportunity for him to take on the role of The Thing. The Thing is a strong creature who’s always ready to put up a fight with anyone who challenges him and John Cena has that same momentum, personality, fighting skill, muscle and voice to align with The Thing. His recent role as Dom’s younger brother Jakob in Fast 9 which also shows John’s heart full of revenge, anger and intensity to take on the role of a CLOBBERING BEAST!
Jon Hamm as Doctor Doom/Victor Von Doom

I’ve always had Jon Hamm in mind to play a character in the Fantastic Four but I could never really figure out who since it seems like he’s always playing a hero or a villain. I narrowed it down from playing The Thing to finally realizing that he’s perfect to play Doctor Doom. Hamm is such an amazing actor who takes on the best roles in movies including the fact that he was one of actors considered to play Batman back in 2016, but later played other big villainous roles like Buddy in Baby Driver, the crazy FBI Agent Adam Frawley in The Town and just other important roles in movies including Mason Skiles in 2018’s Biopic ‘Beirut’ and Detective Joe in No Sudden Move. Not only his debuts as villains, but also the persona he carries when he’s playing a certain type of character and this is why I think he really deserves a spot in the MCU as this powerful iconic villain.
Adam Driver as Silver Surfer

Now believe it or not on this one, but I have to say this was one character that was extremely hard to find the right actor for knowing there are many talented stars out there who are within that height range and facial expression, but I came to realize that Adam Driver is just perfect for the role. He’s another outstanding actor who’s starting to be cast a lot more after his amazing performances as Kylo Ren in Star Wars VII-IX and Jacques Le Gris in The Last Duel, and I feel like those movies have helped shape his acting career. He has that shaped personality to play another one of these iconic Fantastic Four characters that has a way of keeping the energy going when trying to save a planet, and that’s exactly what’s needed in the MCU.
And that’s it for The Fantastic Four! Now it’s time for!

Scott Eastwood or
Milo Gibson as Wolverine

For Scott Eastwood, how do you beat Hugh Jackman at playing a character like Wolverine? The answer is you can’t! The same way you can’t beat Robert Downey Jr. at playing Iron Man. There are a lot of young actors and middle aged actors who might be able to take the role or have been considered like Keanu Reeves, Taron Egerton, and most recently Daniel Radcliffe. For a character like Wolverine, I personally think Scott Eastwood, the son of the one of the most badass actor, Clint Eastwood, would be perfect for the role. Knowing that Scott is within that Height range, 5’11, he takes after his father in following his traits and steps onto the big screen which all shows that he has that kind of mentality to take on the role of the six clawed mutant.
For Milo Gibson, what’s better than finding another actor who’s the son of another one of the most badass actors out there, Mel Gibson! While Scott Eastwood is 5’11, Milo remains 5’9 which is slightly closer to 5’3. Milo is a great actor who hasn’t really had that many big and important roles other than his role as Al Capone in Gangster Land, Lucky Ford in Hacksaw Ridge, and important lead role as turned Bounty Hunter Jack Collins in All the Devil’s Men. Other than that important role, he hasn’t been given a proper role to show his true colors when it comes to his performances and he’s got the talent, personality, look, size and action skills to play this tough mutant. For any X-Men fans looking for a similar comic book accurate version of Wolverine, Milo Gibson is the best choice.
Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X

To be honest, it took me a little while to think about whether I should recast him or just put him in another role. I finally decided to leave him as Professor X. Giancarlo Esposito is the perfect actor to play this role, knowing his involvement with “Breaking Bad” and it’s spinoff “Better Call Saul” as Gus Fring. Even though he’s mostly known for taking villainous roles, he’s got this amazing sense of knowledge that he takes in when he’s playing a certain role and that’s why I think he would mostly fit in the MCU as the leader of a team of mutants.
Vincent Cassel as Magneto

Now this was a role that was extremely hard to find the right actor for knowing there a lot of older British actors out there who could play this role. I originally had Pierce Brosnan in mind but he’s already set to make his debut in the DCEU as Doctor Fate in the upcoming “Black Adam” movie. I notice that we don’t really see Vincent in a lot of popular movies these days, other than his outstanding performances in Jason Bourne (2016) and Oceans 12 and 13. Those movies prove that he has the accent and courage to take on this powerful villainous role.
Riley Keough as Phoenix/Jean Grey

This was another one of those roles that was hard to find the right actress for, knowing how many red haired actresses there are who could take on this role. I originally had Holland Roden in mind after watching Escape Room 1 and 2, but I realized that she doesn’t really fit the role. Riley Keough is the perfect actress knowing she’s within that height range and her amazing skill she has when it comes to taking the best roles in movies like her role as Capable in Mad Max: Fury Road and Sarah in Under the Silver Lake. She’s pretty enough and has the perfect talent to create an entirely new take on movies and this iconic X-Men character!
Dewanda Wise as Storm

I think the role of this iconic X-Men character should go to Dewanda Wise. She was originally set to make an appearance in Captain Marvel (2019), she expressed interest in playing Storm in the MCU, and I think she deserves the role. She unfortunately hasn’t had that many important roles other than her upcoming role in Jurassic World: Dominion. This is why it’s time for her to make her big debut in the MCU since she’s already on the rise to fame, and she can finally show everyone her other true side to portraying a powerful character with high vulnerability.
Jodie Comer as Mystique

How hard can it be to find out who you truly are when you’re spending your life in disguise trying to fit in with a large crowd? It’s very hard, and the one actress who can fit the position of that somebody is Jodie Comer. She’s another amazing actress who’s in so many popular movies and TV shows but she has be noticed a lot more by everyone and the best way to do that is bringing her into the MCU knowing that she’s got a beautiful look to take on an iconic X-Men villain. Her best roles are Marguerite in The Last Duel, Rey’s mom in Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker, and Kate Parks in Doctor Foster. Those roles are just good enough to prove that Jodie has that charisma in her to play a character who she really isn’t during certain moments.
Armie Hammer as Cyclops

Believe it or not, this was one role that was ultimately hard to find knowing there a lot of big names of young actors in Hollywood that would be perfect for the role. James Marsden was 30 when he started playing Cyclops, but Cyclops is a little bit older and much taller in the comics. Armie Hammer is an amazing actor who was supposed to play Batman a while back, but he’s within that age and height range that can take on this role, he has one main key element when it comes to playing a main character and that is the physicality he takes when playing a major character such as his supporting role in The Man from UNCLE and Death on the Nile. He may not be the one too keep a team together but he’s that one of those members on the team who’s another skilled fighter.
Dave Franco as Iceman

Dave Franco has this amazing stamina when it comes to taking a certain role on screen and he perfectly fits the role of Iceman. Iceman is one of those members on the team who takes jobs seriously and is never afraid to be put down by other villains and Dave Franco falls into that position. His supporting roles in Now You See Me 1 & 2, 21 and 22 Jump Street, and 6 Underground show his personality when it comes to taking a heroic role.
Rami Malek as Nightcrawler

I know I originally had Rami Malek in mind to play Silver Surfer, but I think he would fit more into the MCU as Nightcrawler. Rami Malek is currently a rising star in Hollywood especially after his outstanding performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody and there’s no secret to him that you’re starting to see him a lot more movies now. He has that amazing key element in him that he can always play the hero or villain and I know for a while people have also been speculating that he was going to play Moon Knight. His performance in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is also just enough to prove that this role will benefit him and it will be an amazing entrance for him into the MCU.
Joel Edgerton as Beast

I made a mistake in choosing LaKeith Stanfield for Beast because he’s way too young for the role and Beast is much older. LaKeith and Beast are close to the same height and he’s an amazing actor, but I think Joel fits the role a lot better. Joel is another smart and amazing actor who’s strong enough and has the accent to take on the role of this iconic creature, especially seen through his performances as Nick Jacoby in Bright (2017) where he portrays an Orc/Beast type of Partner to a cop (Will Smith) and Brendan Conlon in Warrior (2011). These portrayals show that he’s perfect for the character in the concept of physical appearance and fighting skills.
Rudy Pankow as Pyro

I know Rudy Pankow is rumored to play the Human Torch but I think he fits Pyro more. He’s an amazing actor who’s mostly well-known through Outer Banks and Nathan Drake’s older brother Sam in Uncharted. He’s a lot younger for Pyro and they seem to share similar traits such as age range, height, personality, hair color and more of the same charisma. He’s got all those amazing elements that show he’s tough enough to play a Human Torch type of villain going against the X-Men.
Alexandra Daddario as Rogue

I originally had Alexandra in mind for Mystique but I think she’s more fit for Rogue. When you look closely, she looks exactly like the comic version and if she was to wear the same clothing, it would be like looking at a live version of Rogue from the comics. She’s best known for her roles in Baywatch (2018), San Andreas (2015), and True Detective. Watching all her performances easily show that she has all that strong intensity when she’s taking on a particular role that’s good or bad, those movies and TV shows prove she’s got the best amount of power to provide equal strength and rage to play Rogue.
Mary Mouser as
Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat

Mary Mouser is an amazing actress who hasn’t been seen in that many popular movies, other than her main role as the daughter of Daniel LaRusso, Samantha in Cobra Kai. She gives an amazingly strong performance that have people thinking she has to be put in a much more heroic role and that’s what gets me to believe she should join the MCU as Kitty Pryde. She falls in that line within the height range, look and fighting skills, from her active role. For example, Xolo Maridueña is another actor in the show who doesn’t have that many popular roles and he’s set to play Blue Beetle! Her character can make the movies so much more expansive and that’s what will give the audience a lot more fun and interest when she’s playing a skilled fighter against mutants in the MCU.
Tom Hopper as Sabretooth/Victor Creed

As I said in my intro, I’m trying to stay away from DC castings so I think the best choice would be none other than Tom Hopper. Tom is best known for his roles in The Umbrella Academy, Asbjorn in Northmen - A Viking Saga, Billy Bones in Black Sails, and his Dickon Tarly in Season 7 of Game of Thrones. Tom shares all the the same physical traits and Personality that can align with Sabretooth’s character and that includes toughness, rage, vengeance, fighting and ruthlessness. His role as Sabretooth in the MCU would be a perfect fit for him to break out.
Channing Tatum as Gambit

Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Channing Tatum is an amazing actor who takes nothing but the most serious and action-packed roles, but lost his unproduced Gambit solo movie due to constant release date changes. Attempting to take this role again can be a huge opportunity for him to break out in the MCU and that’s why Marvel really needs to bring him back so he can fulfill the X-Men with the power of converting potential energy to pure light kinetic energy.
Miles Teller as Angel

Miles is such an outstanding actor who’s taken the best roles in movies like Whiplash, War Dogs, the Divergent series and more. He also starred in the Fant4stic movie back in 2015 which bombed but he could redeem his heroic ability as Angel in the MCU. Angel is a founding member of the X-Men who’s also a millionaire playboy who uses a lot of his wealth and fighting skills, Miles Teller’s portrayals of similar characters demonstrates his impatience and redemption in the roles he takes which is and can be a huge element in him playing Angel.
Cameron Monaghan as Toad

I know we only got to see Toad in the first X-Men (2000) and Days of Future Past (2014), but now is a much better chance to give him more screen time in the MCU. Cameron is the perfect choice of actor take on a crazy and wild misfit like Toad, watching his biggest performance as Joker in the show Gotham easily gives us a huge glimpse of the craziness and human killer instinct he has when it comes to taking wild killing roles. Toad was welcomed by Magneto after he set Blob free and he did whatever it took to impress his leader and Cameron is also seen in other roles that involves working in a team which is exactly the personality and trait needed to play Toad.
AND Last but MOST Certainly not LEAST
Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool/Wade Wilson

We all know this needs no explanation at all! 😂
