Cinema Con 2022/High Anticipated Films

As we wait patiently for all upcoming films of 2022-2023, it’s a good idea to take a quick scroll through the amazing movies and sequels we’re getting. Release dates and filming got delayed and pushed due to the COVID Pandemic hitting so we couldn’t go to the movies for almost a year, but now is the time to take a look for a higher feeling of excitement! 🍿 🎥 🔥

1) The Batman 2

After the success of The Batman, this is amazing to hear! After seeing the debuts of villains, The Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman who works for Penguin in the beginning, and a whole new storyline and take on Pattinson’s Batman gives us so much more hope for what’s to come in the sequel! Coming Fall 2024 🦇🍿

2) Avatar: The Way of the Water

Finally, a long-awaited sequel we’ve all been waiting for since 2010! This will tell a whole new story about the life of Jake Sully and Neytiri’s kids who will all be battling for their life. Coming to Theaters December 22, 2022. 🔵 🏹 🍿

3) Black Adam

We’ve been hearing the news that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be playing Black Adam for a long time and now we’re finally getting a movie! The sneak peek looks amazing with our first looks as Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher! The movie is set to hit theaters October 21, 2022!⚡️🍿

4) Ghostbusters 5

This movie was announced by Sony and will be the fifth movie in the series! After the success of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, this is an amazing continuation for the series! There is currently no official release date for the film yet. 👻🍿

5) Venom 3

Another sequel announced by Sony after the success of Venom: Let There Be Carnage! This series has turned out to be a hit after years of waiting for a Venom Solo movie! Like I said in one of my previous posts/thoughts of the day, please have Andrew Garfield return as Spider Man!(despite taking a break from acting) No official release date has been announced yet

6) The Expend4bles

This is one sequel that a lot of us were immediately expecting after the third one and thought we would possibly never get it! After 8 years, we’re finally getting a 4th one with returning stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture, with new stars Andy Garcia, 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Tony Jaa as the film’s villain! We may not be getting all the original stars but this movie is still going to be a big hit with all these new huge stars! No official release date has been set yet but it’s definitely aiming for a 2022 release 🔪🔫 🍿

7) The Flash

Despite the Ezra Miller accusations, he’ll most likely be getting removed from the role but we have this possible last movie role of his to look forward to! We got a brief sneak peek of The Flash at Cinema Con showing the return of Michael Shannon as General Zod and the most iconic return of Michael Keaton as Batman from 1989, with his iconic movie line “Let’s Get Nuts”! We also have Ben Affleck returning as his respective role of Batman! This movie is set to hit theaters June 23, 2023 ⚡️🍿
